Community Arts Experiences
We believe music and the arts are a cornerstone of any healthy community.
What do community arts experiences look like?
Community arts experiences focus on inclusivity and social change. People benefit from active group musicking, regardless of ability or background.
A community arts experience can take many forms, including:
A community choir composed of people of different ages and abilities
A hip-hop collective with a strong social justice message
“Community Jam Sessions” of folks with similar wellness needs or passions
Grief support groups after incidents of community or police violence
Songwriting/talent showcases featuring voices often ignored in the arts
Rates are variable depending on your needs and your budget
60-minute community music workshops start at $550 for in-person events and $300 for virtual events. An in-state travel fee will be charged for events outside of 20 miles of “home base”; out of state travel will be assessed a standard mileage fee.
Options are available for in-kind compensation for organizations that are not able to pay the full rate for programming.
Community music and support groups started and run by Fleming Music Therapy will have a per-person registration rate listed on the registration form. These prices are set in a way to be affordable and accessible to the greatest amount of participants.
